Through a series of quick drawing activities we will connect our eyes to hands and open our hearts to a joyful session of drawing portraits.
Come with a friend, or your child, or someone’s face you really like – spend a couple of hours really getting to know that perfect fringe, crooked smile or freckled nose. Be prepared to get curious and fall in love with the humble power of pen and paper. This is a perfect parent and child activity*
Hannah Broadway is an artist and illustrator based in Bristol. She absolutely LOVES David Hockney. So much so, she has renamed the month of October ‘Hocktober’ and posts a photo daily of her recreating a Hockney portrait.
